  • Insufficient Adhesiveness of Adhesives? You Must Have Lost It!

    Adhesive, a kind of material that firmly bonds all kinds of materials by interfacial action, can also be called "adhesives". Adhesives are widely used in electronics, automotive, industrial, chemical, construction and other industries. However, in the production of adhesives, due to high-speed stirring and various active additives, a large number of foams will be produced. Bubbles affect the uniform mixing of adhesives. Stable foams will increase the volume of barrels, make the weight of barrels uneven, increase the cost of packaging, and the existence of foams may also affect the adhesiveness of adhesives. Adhesive  defoamers are created for this purpose.

    Why do adhesives create bubbles?

    Why eliminate the foam in the adhesive?

    1. The presence of bubbles will hinder the mixing of various components of adhesives and affect the quality of adhesives.

    2. Bubbles will hinder the operation of agitation and reduce production efficiency.

    3. Bubbles may cause voids between bonds to reduce bonding strength.

    4. Stable foam will increase the volume of the barrel, make the weight of the barrel uneven, and increase the cost of packaging.

    Characteristics of adhesive defoamer:

    1. Fast defoaming, long anti-foaming ability and less addition do not affect the basic properties of foaming system.

    2. Good compatibility, versatility, fast diffusion, no bleaching, demulsification and other problems.

    3. Chemical properties are stable, non-flammable and non-explosive, which will not affect the product.

    4. High temperature resistance, strong acid and alkali resistance, high pressure resistance, under various conditions can also maintain defoaming and anti-foaming function.

    Application scenarios:

    Used in adhesive manufacturing, polyvinyl acetate, casein, dextrin, acrylic acid, synthetic latex (latex), gel and glue, high viscosity white latex, glue, EVA latex, latex, emulsion polymerization, acrylic acid latex, adhesive, white latex, starch, polyvinyl alcohol latex, property for defoaming and anti-foaming. Various kinds of emulsions: acrylic acid resin, adhesives, polymer glue, water-borne color paste, emulsion polymerization, waterproof paint, printing, synthetic emulsion.
