    Powder defoamers are synthesized through a specialized process involving the polymerization of polysiloxanes, specialized emulsifiers, and highly active polyether defoamers. Since this product contains no moisture, it is particularly well-suited for application in moisture-free powder-based products. Its key characteristics include strong defoaming capabilities, low dosage requirements, long-lasting foam suppression, excellent thermal stability, good flowability, and ease of transport. It retains its defoaming and foam-suppressing efficacy even in high-temperature and highly alkaline solutions.

    Powder defoamers are primarily utilized in dry powder systems or in applications where the use of liquid defoamers is unsuitable—such as in dry-mix mortars, self-leveling cements, putty powders, powder coatings, and detergents. They play a significant role in enhancing the leveling properties of dry-mix construction materials, suppressing foam generation during application, improving the flowability of powder products, and preventing caking during packaging.


    The primary application sectors are detailed below:

    Construction and Building Materials (Dry-Mix Mortar Systems): This constitutes the largest application market, covering a wide range of dry-mix mortars (including self-leveling compounds, repair mortars, and waterproofing mortars), cement-based materials, gypsum powders, fillers, and putty powders. They effectively reduce foam generated during the mixing process and enhance the strength of the finished products.


    Powder Coatings: Commonly used in thermosetting powder coatings—such as those based on epoxy, polyester, and acrylic resins—to prevent the formation of pinholes and micro-bubbles during the curing (baking) process, thereby improving the leveling properties of the coating film.


    Cleaning and Detergents: Used in the manufacture of powdered detergents, soaps, metal cleaning agents, laundry powders, and similar products, offering rapid and long-lasting defoaming performance.


    Chemical Manufacturing and Industrial Processing: Applied in dry-powder additive systems for wastewater treatment, granular pesticide formulations, textile printing and dyeing, general chemical powder processing, and cleaning systems involving strong acids or strong bases.


    Specialized Applications: Suitable for powder-based systems that require the addition of water during use—such as in oil drilling operations—as well as for processing systems where the addition of liquid additives is precluded due to packaging limitations (e.g., requirements for hermetic sealing).
